Culture is not something you hope for. It's something you build, one interaction at a time. These four values are the foundation of our coaching work. What would we observe from educators if they were living these core values?
Ex. Reach out to check on others when they are absent and go out of your way to acknowledge them when they return.
Ex. Identify your core values and ask yourself if you are living them in your interactions with others. Apologize when you don’t get it right and model forgiveness when others wrong you.
Ex. Slow down, stay in the conversation longer, ask more questions, validate their thoughts, and always circle back to show them how much you truly care.
Ex. Refrain from labeling others who seem disengaged. Outward expressions don’t always align with internal feelings.
